Ponte Campo – Alpe Veglia

This itinerary starts from Ponte Campo, reachable along the asphalted road that starts from the bottom of the town. It is the traditional route that follows the ancient mule track, from which to admire the landscape of the Cairasca valley. After the last stretch of the climb, you immerse yourself in a completely new and suggestive context, which overlooks the gorges of the Cairasca stream and leads to the entrance to the plain of Alpe Veglia. A green expanse, enclosed by the peaks that frame it, characterized by the imposing Monte Leone on the left, by the Cairasca stream that crosses it and by several villages of characteristic huts.
